About the role
UNH TRIO Upward Bound seeks Academic Year Tutor-Mentors to provide academic and college tutoring to students during the school year.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic and college tutoring on an as-needed basis
- Staff monthly Saturday Tutoring Academies providing academic support and designing college & career workshops
- Chaperone college visits and career activities when available
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in education or related field
- Knowledge of college admissions and financial aid processes
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
