Job Responsibilities

Piedmont Technical College is seeking Part-Time Tutors to support students across various academic areas. Current needs include Math, English, Anatomy and Physiology, Computer Technology, Allied Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, and Accounting.

Requirements

• Reliable, responsible, patient, and personable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Above-average understanding of the subject area
• Knowledge of basic teaching or tutoring techniques
• Familiarity with academic programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong commitment to supporting undergraduate education and student success
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proof of a high school diploma or official/unofficial transcripts if a higher degree has been earned
• An associate degree or higher preferred, along with prior tutoring experience
• Successfully completed the subject they wish to tutor with a grade of A or B
