Academic Tutor

Position Information

The position(s) duties include tutoring student-athletes for the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes in various subject areas. Tutoring will occur in one-on-one and group situations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences

Comprehensive knowledge base in a discipline of interest with the ability to articulate material in ways that creates an optimal learning environment Interpersonal skills necessary to relate to students in both individual and group situations.

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
