About the role
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a broad spectrum of intra- and inter-departmental teaching activities including pathology house-staff and fellows
- Provide medical student teaching
- Provide Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology coverage at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP)
- Clinical focus in gynecologic pathology, breast pathology, and cytopathology
Requirements
- M.D./Ph.D or equivalent degree
- Board certification/eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (and/or AP/CP) from the American Board of Pathology or equivalent
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
Preferred expertise
- Surgical Pathology with a focus on Gastrointestinal, Head and Neck, Gynecological or Breast Pathology
