Responsibilities
- Assist faculty with such tasks as attendance, lectures, and breakout sessions
- Observe other professor’s lectures and participate in Westcliff University professional development workshops offered by the Learning, Innovation, Teaching Excellence (LITE) Center
- Assure the proper setup and cleaning of labs and enforce laboratory rules to maintain a safe and educational environment
- Proctor examinations
- Support grading in GAP (the university LMS)
- Collaborate with assigned faculty regarding all aspects of assigned courses

Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Education preferred
- Preferred candidate would be pursuing a masters or doctorate degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Education
- GPA should be 3.5 or higher in all coursework
- Recommendation/Reference Letter
- ASA course responsibilities begin at the start of the academic sessions and continue until the final grades have been turned in. ASAs are responsible for contacting and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the instructor during the entire course. ASAs will provide support to professors and students and perform routine responsibilities both in and out of the classroom.
- ASA’s are responsible for attending all onsite class meetings at the San Francisco, CA campus.
