Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage standing programs within the provost office including academic badging programs (i.e. Foster Care), university policy review committee management, and liaison manager for the IRB.
- Provide management to other programs as directed by the vice provost for research and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the VPRSI in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to foster relationships, gather input, and promote collaboration in project planning.
- Draft communications, reports, and other written materials related to projects and programs, including progress reports, and project deliverables to track project milestones, performance indicators, outcomes, and coordinate collaborative convening.
- Manage the VPRSI office budget, coordinate budgets for reporting ORGs (BUCIES, OSP, IRSA, BDAIC, IRB), and related programs.
- Work directly with EI to establish effective market analysis for new graduate degree programs.

- Written and Oral Communications: Ability to present information to individuals or groups; ability to deliver presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely to groups or individuals either verbally or in writing to ensure that they understand the information and the message. Ability to listen and respond appropriately to others. Ability to impact and influence others to further the institution’s strategic objectives.
- Technical, Computer, and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic databases and software.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
