About the role

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek an Infectious Diseases physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of adult Infectious Diseases (ID).
• Provide a mix of ID inpatient, outpatient and telehealth service.
• Achieve excellent patient care.
• Achieve active involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
• Successful candidate must have completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as infectious diseases fellowship program.
• Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in infectious diseases.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
