Academic Physician - Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the Role

This is an academic faculty position focused on providing psychiatric care for children and adolescents, mentoring trainees, and engaging in scholarly activities within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services for pediatric inpatients and emergency department cases.
• Conduct outpatient evaluations and treatments for children and adolescents.
• Participate in a shared call schedule.
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in academic activities such as research and scholarly work.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric care team.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Eligibility for Missouri medical licensure.
• Strong commitment to academic medicine, education, and team-based care.
