About the Role
This is an academic faculty position focused on providing psychiatric care for children and adolescents, mentoring trainees, and engaging in scholarly activities within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services for pediatric inpatients and emergency department cases.
- Conduct outpatient evaluations and treatments for children and adolescents.
- Participate in a shared call schedule.
- Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in academic activities such as research and scholarly work.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric care team.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Eligibility for Missouri medical licensure.
- Strong commitment to academic medicine, education, and team-based care.
