Academic Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Join a leading academic anesthesiology program as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. This role offers full-spectrum anesthesiology practice in a state-of-the-art academic medical center, including cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, ENT, interventional radiology, liver, and endoscopy cases, with exposure to complex tertiary procedures and a high-acuity patient population.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive clinical anesthesiology care
• Teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
• Participating in didactic sessions, simulation training, and scholarly activities
• Engaging in academic activities aligned with faculty appointment

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
• Strong commitment to patient care, education, and teamwork

Schedule

• Approximately 50-hour work week with collaborative scheduling to support wellness
• Clinical shifts typically 10 hours, with optional 24-hour call opportunities
• Participation in an established anesthesiology training program
