Job Description
Physician provides assessment, management and outcome evaluation for patients’ outpatient settings. Educates patients, families and staff.
Clinical Duties and Training of Diagnostic Radiology Residents
- Interpretation of structural studies: MRI, CT scans, myelograms and plain films of the brain, extracranial head/neck, and spine.
- Optional: MR studies of the temporomandibular joints, MRI of the brachial plexus, and MRI lumbar plexus.
- Interpretation of MR and CT cerebral and neck angiograms.
- Interpretation of functional imaging studies: BOLD fMRI, DTI with tractography, CT/MR perfusion, and CSF flow studies.
- Optional: DCE of CNS, ENT.
- Procedural Expertise: CT-guided spinal, paraspinal, and neck biopsies. Fluoroscopically-guided lumbar punctures, myelograms
- Optional: Facet blocks, epidural steroid injections, discograms, nerve blocks.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree or equivalent
- Eligibility for Kentucky Medical License
- ABR certified or eligible
