Academic Lab Technician (Biology) NLC - req14045

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment and safety requirements.
• Assist students and faculty with the proper use of equipment.
• Demonstrate procedures.
• Monitor users in the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Perform occasional duties in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field with at least twelve (12) hours in major field of study, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Preferred: Three or more years of related experience.
• Licenses or certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.
