About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your clinical expertise in midwifery and academic teaching with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Ob/Gyn Residents. Provide care to a diverse patient population in Labor and Delivery, OB triage, Postpartum, and on the Antepartum Care unit.
Responsibilities
- Days, nights and weekends; 7:30a -5:30p and 12a – 10p
- Midwifery group manages 100-120 births a month
- Supportive in-house physician colleagues
- Newly renovated Labor and Delivery Center with 20 spacious modern private rooms
- Clinical supervision and teaching of medical students and residents
- Faculty appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Division of Midwifery
- Research opportunities with national leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CNM program
- Certified by AMCB
- Active Rhode Island CSR, and DEA license or eligible
- 4 + years of CNM experience required
