About the Role
Join Womens Care, an established and highly respected collaborative practice with twelve CNMs providing a full continuum of the highest quality health care to families in southeastern New England. This role includes office hours at one or more of our four locations (Providence, East Providence, Pawtucket, and East Greenwich), as well as hospital coverage. Our midwives attend births and provide antepartum and postpartum care at Women & Infants Hospital, where our midwifery group manages 100-120 births a month.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients in a variety of settings
- Attend births and provide antepartum and postpartum care at Women & Infants Hospital
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
- Support the administrative needs of the practice
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Rhode Island
- Experience in midwifery practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing midwifery practice
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- At least two years of experience in midwifery practice
- Current Rhode Island license as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
