About the Role
We are seeking an Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join a renowned orthopedic department with a focus on clinical excellence and education.
Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of foot and ankle surgeries, exceeding 1,100 cases annually across multiple facilities
- Participate in medical education by training orthopedic residents, fellows, and medical students
- Engage in clinical and basic science research with an academic appointment based on experience
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including foot and ankle surgeons and podiatrists
- Utilize modern technology platforms such as Epic EMR to support efficient workflows
- Contribute to a patient-centered, high-quality care environment with strong administrative support
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
- MD or DO degree with eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or research, and a commitment to collaborative practice and program growth
