Summary Of Responsibilities
Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures focusing on the body, including but not limited to MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray examinations.
Provide accurate and timely radiological assessments, generating detailed reports to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate closely with referring physicians and healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
Maintain proficiency in the latest radiological techniques, technologies, and protocols, staying abreast of advancements in the field.
Teaching responsibilities include daily clinical supervision, teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences, and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties.
The teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an Accredited Program
- Completion of an Accredited Radiology Residency
- Appropriate Licenses and Certifications
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the latest radiological techniques, technologies, and protocols
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Strong teaching skills, particularly in supervising residents and fellows
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant medical literature and technological advancements
Pay
Academic rank and compensation will be based on training and experience.
