About the role
The Diagnostic Radiology Faculty Physician position at Dignity Health Medical Group in Phoenix, Arizona offers flexible work options, including both onsite and remote work arrangements in Arizona and Nevada. This role provides general diagnostic imaging services such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, with a preference for candidates with expertise or strong interest in Abdominal and Cardiothoracic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide variety of diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently
- Produce clear, concise, and timely reports
- Perform fluoroscopy and musculoskeletal procedures
- Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in departmental conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
- Participate in resident/fellow education and teaching opportunities
Requirements
- Board-eligible/Board-certified
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona and Nevada
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Fellowship training in Abdominal or Cardiothoracic is preferred
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Fellowship training in Abdominal or Cardiothoracic is preferred
