About the role
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is recruiting Emergency Medicine physicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional medical services at both Nebraska Medicine and Nebraska Medicine-Bellevue Medical Center.
- Join a collegial team of Emergency Medicine physicians dedicated to providing extraordinary patient care.
- Participate in a well-established and fully accredited three-year emergency medicine residency program offering 12 positions per year.
- Offer 24/7 Emergency Medicine resident coverage at Nebraska Medicine, a nationally certified Level I Trauma Center serving nearly 65,000 patients annually.
- Provide excellent physician and advanced practice provider coverage at Nebraska Medicine-Bellevue Medical Center, which is the second busiest ED in the state with a census of over 35,000 visits annually.
- Contribute to the education of a 21st century health care workforce, find cures and treatments for devastating diseases, and serve the state and its communities through award-winning outreach.
Requirements
- Must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills are required.
