Academic Dermatologist
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care of patients with dermatology issues, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in scholarly activity.
Requirements
- American Board of Dermatology certification
- Licensure to practice medicine in Illinois
- ACGME BE/BC in dermatology
Qualifications
Full-time academic dermatologists with an interest in general dermatology or one of the following specialty areas: Melanoma, Skin Cancer Surveillance, Women’s Skin Health (especially related to hair loss and vulvar disease), and Inflammatory Skin Disease (Psoriasis; Atopic Dermatitis).
Skills
Ability to interact effectively with trainees and colleagues, strong research skills, and a commitment to academic medicine.
