Academic Coordinator/English teacher Roma Portuense

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and fun English Teacher/Academic Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Kids&Us Roma Portuense. Our school offers meaningful English educational experiences for children aged 1 to 18.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classes using Kids&Us’ lessons, music, games, stories, and arts and crafts.
• Maintain and monitor student progress, guiding them towards their learning goals.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, and peers.

Requirements

• Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English (C1 or higher).
• Hold a Certificate of Carichi Pendenti with no previous record.
• Registered to the Centro per l'impiego.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with others.

• Fixed-term position until 20/06/2027, with the possibility of renewal.
• Flexible schedule with X hours per week as a coordinator and X hours per week as a teacher (totaling 20 hours per week).

• Start date: 20/08/2026.
• Gross annual salary starting from €20,665 to €22,017, adjusted based on working hours.

Pay

The gross annual salary (full-time equivalent) starts from €20,665 to €22,017 and will be proportionally adjusted based on the agreed working hours.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role combining teaching and academic coordination, with the contractual level (Level 5 or Level 8A) determined based on responsibilities.
