About the Role
The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the diagnosis and management of hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients as a GI Hospitalist in the inpatient setting at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and/or Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC).
- See inpatient consults and perform endoscopic procedures.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Fulfill 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching at the Perelman School of Medicine.
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- Outstanding clinician with excellence in teaching.
