About the role

The Islamic Association of Collin County is seeking a dedicated individual to support academic and career preparation initiatives within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and community members in academic planning and career development.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions on educational and career-related topics.
• Provide guidance on college applications, resume writing, and interview preparation.
• Collaborate with local schools, universities, and organizations to enhance program offerings.
• Maintain records and track progress of participants in career prep programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Experience in academic advising, career counseling, or youth development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data management.
