Academic Advisor

About the role

The Academic Advisor supports daily operations at the regional campus, focusing on student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and academic advising.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality academic advising services and accurate degree program curriculum planning for prospective and enrolled students.
• Serve as an academic advisor for students in the Integrated Studies program, regional campus programs, and distance learning programs.
• Implement and assist with recruitment campaigns to promote enrollment growth.
• Collaborate with local community college partner staff to recruit and ensure a seamless transition for transfer students.
• Attend recruitment events and activities to promote the university.
• Assist students with admissions, enrollment, financial aid, scholarship information, and other university-related guidance.
• Maintain social media posts for the regional campus.
• Support regional campus student organization activities.
• Assist with day-to-day operations and videoconferencing classroom activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Campus Director or Executive Director of the Center for Adult and Regional Education.
