About the role
The Academic Advisor is responsible for providing academic guidance and support to students.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic advising services to students
- Assist students in developing educational plans
- Monitor student progress towards degree completion
- Collaborate with faculty and other campus resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in academic advising
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with online learning platforms is a plus
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures
- Basic understanding of student financial aid processes
