Major Responsibilities
- Support academic leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Support and work with academic administrators on major school events, including attendance at evening events, such as Back to School Night, 8th Grade Graduation, etc.
- Cookordinate with academic administrators to implement student-centered events such as Parent/Guardian Conferences, Portfolio Days, Presentation Night, etc.
- Cookordinate with academic administrators to implement student-centered projects such as service learning, field trips and overnight trips
- Aid academic administrators and faculty/staff clerks with scheduling and organization around all school faculty and staff meetings, such as Opening & Closing Meetings and Professional Development Days, etc.
- Registrar
- Manage student transcript requests
- Support management of student records for accuracy and completeness for all Lower School and Middle School grading periods
- Partner with the High School Transition Coordinator to support the HS process with academic documents
- Aid the Director of SIS & Data Operations with content collection for various portals, data migration projects, forms, etc.
- Aid the Division Heads to support the academic progress reporting process
- Aid the Division Heads in the creation of onboarding events for families, students and teachers new to SFFS
- Assist the Director of SIS & Data Operations with database maintenance (e.g. duplicate records)
- Assist with meetings related to the academic administration, such as share agendas, take notes, calendaring, etc.
- Support academic administrators on school communications throughout the year
- Consider upcoming events and help to coordinate with academic administrators
- Assist the Director of SIS & Data Operations with database maintenance (e.g. duplicate records)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2 or more years of relevant administrative experience
- Experience with Google Suite (mail, calendar, docs, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and work with databases (Veracross)
- Trained or willing to train in First Aid
- Background check, fingerprinting and pass TB screening
- Spanish speaker is a plus
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends/overtime during busy times

Physical requirements
- Reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
