Academic Accreditation Analyst - PESMOA

About the role

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is seeking an Academic Accreditation Analyst to provide support to the Office of the Provost.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative accreditation support for twenty-three (23) organizations that accredit USU.
  • Participates and aids the Director A&A in the planning, management, oversight, coordination, and review of USU academic and/or educational programs and activities ensuring programs are in compliance with accreditation requirements, standards and national policies.
  • Facilitates the flow of information through the Director A&A and Associate Provost IEA to responsible officials on assigned programs or activities.
  • Receives, reviews, and evaluates reports, proposals, procedures, or staff work submitted to the A&A for evaluation, coordination, authorization, and/or signature.
  • Ensures compliance with USU, DoD higher-level, and/or accreditation policies, requirements, goals, or mission, and inclusion of all relevant information required for reaching decisions that have significant impact on USU or DoD programs and activities.
  • Serves as liaison with internal and external offices for administrative coordination and resolution.
  • Captures administrative actions of the office including travel requests and travel claims, budget submissions and monthly reconciliations, institutional membership requests and supply and equipment requisitions to ensure completion in a proper and timely fashion.
  • Maintains the digital repository of evidence required for accreditation, ensuring all syllabi, CVs, and other evidentiary documents are uploaded, filed appropriately, and reviewed regularly for their currency. Coordinates for updates or replacement documents as required.
  • Provides office administrative support for records management, procurement and oversight of office supplies and equipment, computer support and repair requirements, and work order requests.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree, in Data Analytics or Social Science; master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years experience required.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have analytical skills to interpret a wide range of information and use their findings to suggest improvements. Must have skills to communicate clearly and precisely in both writing and speaking. Good organizational skills. Must use interpersonal skills to work as a team toward achieving the organization's goals. Knowledge of higher education accreditation requirements. Ability to use MS and Google technology products. Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust background check.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods.

Work Environment

This position will take place primarily in an office setting.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $67,500 - $105,000. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, education, etc.
