AC Start Up & Warranty Tech - Orlando, Fl.

Job Summary

As the AC Start Up & Warranty Tech, you will work with customers to offer appropriate warranty and product service options. You will perform final stage checks, corrections, and scheduled calls. No supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot single and three-phase installations.
• Check heating & cooling equipment installation and verify cooling and heating operations (pitch on drain lines, coils etc.).
• Diagnose & correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Assess customer needs and offer appropriate products and services.
• Create and maintain a database of leads from retail, retail new construction, and product registration.
• Provide feedback on competition and market standing.
• Build relationships with vendor partners for current information.
• Handle product registration for retail and new construction installations.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year minimum residential field experience required.
• Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues.
• Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
• EPA Certification: Preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Able to access in and out of attics.
• Working on-call schedules and long hours.
