Troubleshooting
- Work with customers to identify and resolve warranty and product service options.
- Diagnose and correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs.
Customer Interaction
- Assess customer needs and offer appropriate products and services.
- Create and maintain a database of all leads through various channels.
- Provide feedback on competition and market standing.
- Build strong relationships with vendor partners.
Product Registration
- Handle product registration for retail and new construction installations.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous “In House Sales” experience.
- Customer Service skills.
- High quality organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year minimum residential field experience required.
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues.
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
- EPA Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Able to access in and out of attics.
- Working on-call schedules and long hours.
