Troubleshooting

  • Work with customers to identify and resolve warranty and product service options.
  • Diagnose and correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs.

Customer Interaction

  • Assess customer needs and offer appropriate products and services.
  • Create and maintain a database of all leads through various channels.
  • Provide feedback on competition and market standing.
  • Build strong relationships with vendor partners.

Product Registration

  • Handle product registration for retail and new construction installations.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous “In House Sales” experience.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • High quality organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year minimum residential field experience required.
  • Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues.
  • Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
  • EPA Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Able to access in and out of attics.
  • Working on-call schedules and long hours.
