UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead our Arctic exploration projects. This role will be based in our headquarters in Chicago.
About the role
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee project execution and ensure adherence to scope, quality, and timelines
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in Arctic environments preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for innovation and sustainability
Skills
- Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Arctic environment knowledge and experience

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
