About the Role
The role involves providing advanced clinical care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a multidisciplinary Transplant Services team. It offers exposure to complex clinical cases in a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating pre- and post-transplant patient care
- Collaborating with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other professionals
- Educating patients and families on transplant procedures and medications
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited program
- Current Maryland license and board certification
- Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP or PA
Preferred Experience
- Inpatient SICU/CVICU, Hepatology, Nephrology, or Surgical Residency
- Transplant experience is advantageous
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Schedule
Work schedule consists of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and holiday coverage.
