About the role
The Department of Radiology offers a unique opportunity for an Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Radiologist to support the Department of Radiology in the Abdominal Imaging section.
Responsibilities
- Work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- Required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
- Applicants interested in pursuing an academic career in the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section will be considered for the titles Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor on either the Clinician Teacher (CT) Track or Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) Track.
- Duties under the CHS track include clinical, teaching, and academic duties, including ultrasound, intra-operative ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography (CT) guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/ genitourinary (GI/ GU) imaging.
- Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows, and other department trainees as appropriate.
- Duties under the CT Track include complementing our Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section, but also a willingness to interact closely with our ordering providers during clinical work.
Qualifications
- WI medical license by start date of position.
- Board certified-board or board-eligible by American Board of Radiology (ABR) by start date of position.
- Completion of fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging or equivalent experience is required by start date of position.

All Faculty: The chosen candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
