About the role
ABC Columbia News-WOLO TV is seeking an experienced Weekend News Anchor/Reporter in the capital city of Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities
- Able to anchor, report and produce newscasts independently
- Work to plan, assign, produce and anchor weekend newscasts
- Serve as a reporter for 11pm newscasts during the week
- Handle live breaking news
- Knowledge of non-linear equipment, website management and news producing required
- Newsroom leadership with excellent storytelling, producing and live skills
- Write, edit and work under pressure
Requirements
- 2 years anchoring, producing experience required
- Preferred degree in Journalism or communications
