Key Responsibilities
- Manage abatement projects from initial site inspection through final completion.
- Assess project scope, develop work plans, and coordinate crew schedules and resources.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailed job documentation, including photos, reports, and project records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Explain the abatement process, project scope, and expectations to customers.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address questions or concerns.
- Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety controls on job sites.
- Perform initial inspections and final walk-throughs to ensure quality and completion of work.
- Document job progress and maintain accurate project files to support services provided.
- Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to ensure efficient project execution.
Crew Leadership
- Supervise and direct field technicians and subcontractors during abatement activities.
- Communicate expectations and ensure crews follow established work processes and safety procedures.
Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Explain the abatement process, project scope, and expectations to customers.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address questions or concerns.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety controls on job sites.
- Maintain proper documentation related to environmental and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in abatement, environmental remediation, restoration, or construction project management.
- Experience supervising field crews and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of abatement safety procedures, environmental regulations, and jobsite safety practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver License required, Commercial Drive License preferred.
- Relevant current certifications (e.g., asbestos, lead, mold, or environmental remediation) required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Walking and standing for extended periods at active job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, occasionally more with assistance.
- Climbing ladders and accessing confined spaces such as crawl spaces or attics.
- Exposure to dust, airborne particles, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
- Occasional use of respirators and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Frequent driving between job sites and project locations.
