Abatement Worker
Job Description
Work around and/or remove materials that have potential to create hazardous exposure, including but not limited to asbestos, lead-containing materials, and mold.
Site mobilization, initial site clean-up, and site preparation.
Use hand tools, power equipment, and other machinery to remove materials.
Packaging toxic materials and loading them onto trucks for disposal.
Adhere to health and safety protocols.
Work outdoors, inside buildings, or in confined spaces.
On-the-job training offered.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to perform basic math.
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
- Able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
- Comfortable working from heights.
- Have reliable transportation.
