About the role
Golden Care Therapy NY is seeking a compassionate and experienced ABA Therapist to join their team in Queens, New York. The ABA Therapist will work with children with Autism, providing life-changing therapy services and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide ABA therapy services to children with Autism in a variety of settings, including home, clinic, and school-based environments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with parents and other team members
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and strategies to promote skill acquisition and behavior change
- Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, goal attainment, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistent and effective implementation of treatment plans
- Participate in supervisory and training activities to maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education)
- NYS Certification or eligible for certification
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
