ABA Clinical Supervisor

About the role

Behavioral Health Works is an expanding company dedicated to responsible and sustainable growth, providing personalized ABA therapy for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of therapy and intervention services for individuals with autism or other developmental disorders.
• Conduct field visits, provide supervision to assigned cases, review data, monitor client progress, and make program modifications as needed under the direction of a clinical manager.
• Provide parent training and education on behavior interventions and techniques.
• Maintain regular communication with families to discuss progress, challenges, and program updates, addressing family concerns and incorporating feedback into the treatment plan.
• Manage crisis situations involving clients, ensuring proper intervention.
• Ensure proper documentation of all services provided, including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports.
• Stay updated on and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal regulations from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and other governing bodies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in ABA or a related field, with experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services preferred.
• Enrolled as a graduate student in an applied behavior analysis leading to certification of BCBA (preferred).
• A thorough understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background clearance.
• Proof of a negative TB test, pre-employment physical exam, and immunities to MMR/Varicella-Zoster Virus during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Active participation for the length of the entire session by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the child, which may include squatting down, bending over, and playing on the floor.

Compensation

$25.00 - $35.00 Hourly (DOE)

Expected Hours

This is a part-time role to start. Full-time Case Supervisors are required to work a minimum of 30 hours, and at least 25 of the 30 hours must be billable. Occasional weekend hours may be required.
