About the role

Little Spurs Autism Centers is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to children with autism spectrum disorders. We are seeking individuals who are committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans based on each child's needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to enhance social skills, communication, and academic progress.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support for children.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of each child's progress and interactions.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in special education, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Experience working with children with autism or similar developmental disabilities.
• Valid first aid and CPR certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Skills

• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and best practices for supporting children with this condition.
• Proficiency in using technology and software tools for educational purposes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
