ABA Behavioral Technician | Hayward

About the role

TLC is hiring Full Time and Part Time Behavior Technicians in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. We offer highly competitive compensation and benefits, including a supportive culture, paid training, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Analysts with implementing treatment plans
• Use evidence-based strategies targeting language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits
• Address behavioral concerns impacting learning
• Work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients
• Collect data on targeted skills
• Attend clinical team meetings

Requirements

• Prior experience is a plus but not required
• We offer on-site and remote paid training and clinical hours towards your Behavior Technician certification
• Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in Psychology, Education, or a related program preferred
• At least 6 months of previous experience working with children; ABA experience and Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
• A positive attitude and fun through play
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willing to commute to clients' homes, schools, or community settings to implement treatment objectives
• Current TB screening
• Background check clearance upon hire
• Evidence of immunizations
