ABA Behavioral Aide - Hayward

Job Description

Ro Health is hiring Behavior Technicians to support students with behavioral needs in schools for the 25-26 academic school year. This role focuses on providing behavioral support using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support students either in a 1:1 or general classroom capacity
• Communicate calmly, clearly, and concisely with both children and adults
• Be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potentially need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
• Potentially assist with toileting or diapering

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate's degree preferred; a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required
• Experience in childcare and/or ABA is preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• A passion for supporting students in their learning process
• Strong assessment skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
