ABA Behavior Technician/ RBT

Location: Schenectady, Queens County, NY

Compensation: $25–35/hr (based on experience)

Type: Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week)

Schedule

• Afternoons/Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client)
• Queens Village, NY: Monday–Friday, 5–8 PM

About the role

As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism. Help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills. Work in homes or community settings across NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Build skills, manage behaviors, and foster independence.
• Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Participate in supervision and professional growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; pass background & reference checks.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and comfort with technology.
