ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

About the role

Location: Bronx, NY. Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT. As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism, helping build communication, play, social, and daily living skills in homes or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.

Pay

Compensation: $25–35/hr (based on experience).

Schedule

Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week). Shifts: Afternoons/Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client). Afternoon Schedules: Bronx, NY: Any 4 weekdays, 5:00–7:30 PM, & Saturdays with flexible hours.
