ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

About the Role

As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT at Compass ABA, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism, helping them build communication, play, social, and daily living skills. You’ll work in homes or community settings, providing one-on-one therapy under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Build skills, manage behaviors, and foster independence.
• Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Participate in supervision and professional growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete all onboarding requirements.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.

Pay

$25–35/hr (based on experience)

Schedule

Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week), Afternoons/Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client). Example schedule in New Rochelle, NY: M-F, 4:30–6:30 PM.
