AB - Stamford (New Canaan) - Caregiver

Job Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals)
• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care like dressing, bathing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence

Requirements & Preferences

• Availability in New Canaan, CT
• Must have experience assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including mobility, personal care, and daily routines
• Reliable transportation to client's location is required
• Proficiency in English, Bilingual preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Certified Medication Administration (CMA) certification preferred
• Certified Alzheimer’s Dementia Care Professional (ADCP) certification preferred
• Certified Hospice Caregiver certification preferred
• Certified Autism Caregiver certification preferred
• Must be compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, and honest
