A393-ESG-Material Coordinator I
Location: 14524 Heathrow Forrest Pkwy, Houston, TX 77032 (100% onsite). Assignment: 6‑month temporary assignment with potential for full‑time conversion based on business needs and performance.
About the role
Under direct supervision, the Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely movement of materials and goods, accurate storage and inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The role also includes various clean‑up and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely movement of materials and goods.
- Maintain accurate storage and inventory accuracy.
- Perform daily warehouse operations, including clean‑up and housekeeping activities.
- Assist with material handling and inventory support.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties and activities as directed.
- Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment.
Requirements
- Two‑year degree (preferred).
- 1 year of work experience in an operations environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of handheld scanners and lift‑truck certification (preferred).
- Entry‑level position; no prior experience required.
Skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and warehouse operations.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
