A/V Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain home security systems, smart home automation, audio/video equipment, home theater systems, motorized shades, lighting controls, and Wi-Fi/networking infrastructure.
• Provide professional, high-quality service to residential clients throughout the Las Vegas area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with integrated systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and system configurations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: A/V technology, alarm systems, lighting controls, pre-wire installation, or motorized shade systems.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring and networking principles.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system layouts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CEDIA, Crestron, Lutron, or similar) are a plus.
• Previous experience in residential integration or security systems preferred.
• Familiarity with smart home platforms and control systems.
