A Shift Refrigeration Maintenance Pasco

Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

• Read pressure, temperature, vacuum and levels for Steam, Air, Water and Refrigeration processes within the plant and make appropriate corrections if required and/or notify appropriate management personnel.
• Troubleshoot various pieces of equipment and processes that occur in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Work involves pneumatics, steam, water, electricity and mechanics in general as well as some welding.
• All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
• Work also requires other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 Months of mechanical, electrical, weldting, plumbing, refrigeration boiler, or HVAC work experience or any maintenance work experience or maintenance education experience.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, and available for overtime.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to all employees and management to resolve mechanical failures as well as be able to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely.
• Must be able to write legibly and transfer various meter numbers correctly.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

Location

Location accepting rehires 180 days after last term for maximum total of 3 employments.
