What can one say in the face of a single branch of ivy—bright-yellow—poking out from behind the bright-light-blue corrugated-sheet-metal facade of a factory? It’s surely brick behind. Walk a block or two to find another: brick yet uncovered, but coated in a rainbow of dying ivy leaves… another old factory. This is what we have: old factories, many made bright and colorful by different ideas of care and neglect.
