About the role
Maritime Helicopters, Inc. is seeking A&P Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with helicopter experience. Positions are primarily Monday through Friday hangar work in Fairbanks, Alaska, with some field work, especially in the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Mainly perform hangar work on weekdays.
- Occasionally engage in field work, including occasional weekends and overtime.
- Receive additional overtime pay of 2 hours per day for field work.
- Participate in various training programs provided by Maritime Helicopters, Inc., including Bell company specific training, Rolls Royce engine turbine training, FADAC training, and factory school in Dallas, Texas.
- May occasionally receive onsite training from factory representatives.
- Must meet the minimum time on type requirement to obtain an MHI sponsored OAS card, necessary for certain government contracts, including firefighting.
Requirements
- A&P Certification.
- Helicopter experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime.
- Pass relevant training programs provided by Maritime Helicopters, Inc.
Qualifications
- Competitive hourly pay rates and benefits, dependent on experience.
- Initial airline travel to Alaska provided by Maritime Helicopters, Inc.
- Company housing for 90 days provided.
- Limited use of company vehicle for 90 days provided.
- Training provided by Maritime Helicopters, Inc., including Bell company specific training, Rolls Royce engine turbine training, FADAC training, and factory school in Dallas, Texas.
- MHI sponsored OAS card required after meeting the minimum time on type requirement.
- Factory school commitment once proficient in field maintenance.

Pay

Schedule
