About the role
We are seeking an A&P Mechanic II to join our talented team. This role involves performing basic repairs, replacements, and maintenance of aircraft components, supporting necessary checks, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and replacements of aircraft components
- Support necessary checks on aircraft mechanical and functional components
- Test and replace defective or faulty parts using various tools and equipment
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are compliant with national and international standards
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in the hanger or workshop
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violations
- Pass written, oral, and practical assessments
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Current/valid passport for international travel
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- U.S. Citizenship required for employment
Qualifications
- Preferred: FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience
- Travel and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Skills
- Technical knowledge in one of the three main components of aviation maintenance (airframe, power plant mechanics, or A&P components)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
