About the role

Join a team where precision meets performance. We are hiring immediately for full-time Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Mechanic in our Wichita Service Center.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and system malfunctions across jet, turboprop, and multi-engine aircraft, ensuring accurate root cause identification and efficient repair execution.
  • Repair & System Modifications: Perform disassembly, repair, replacement, and reassembly of aircraft systems and components, including supporting aftermarket modifications and upgrades to meet customer specifications.
  • System Testing & Operational Checks: Conduct functional tests, engine runs, and system alignments, ensuring all avionics and mechanical systems meet operational and safety standards prior to delivery.
  • Inspection & Compliance: Execute 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections in accordance with FAR 43 requirements, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
  • Technical Documentation & Reporting: Complete detailed and accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and parts documentation to support compliance and traceability.
  • Customer-Focused Maintenance Support: Support service center operations by delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance solutions, occasionally troubleshooting in-flight issues and mentoring less experienced technicians.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or WorkKeys Bronze certification
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft
  • Knowledge of FAR 43 inspection procedures and experience performing 100-hour and annual inspections

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repairs

  • Technical expertise in aircraft systems and components
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and system malfunctions
  • Experience with FAR 43 inspection procedures and 100-hour and annual inspections
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and quality standards
