A&P Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and industry standards approved by the FAA.
• Ensuring familiarity with all tools and equipment within your assigned area and verifying that all tools are in serviceable condition with accurate calibration.
• Checking that all special tools are available before beginning maintenance tasks, as specified in applicable manuals.
• Conducting inspections in the proper sequence and accurately recording any discrepancies found during the maintenance process.
• Properly documenting work performed in the appropriate maintenance records.
• Reporting any non-airworthy conditions to the Maintenance Manager promptly.
• Maintaining correct tagging and identification of all disassembled components and subcomponents at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician in the aviation industry.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
